Today daily newspaper NZZ publishes the results of the Swiss edition of H&H Webranking. UBS grabs first place, while second and third place goes to Swisscom and Nestlé respectively. The average score for Switzerland jumps from 42.8 to 49.4 points.

Finnish business daily Kauppalehti publishes the Finnish H&H Webranking results today. Metso wins with a total of 84 points. Even though the best Nordic website is Danish (Danske Bank), Finland has the highest average score among the Nordic countries.

The second issue of H&H Webranking Newsletter looks at some of the results from the questionnaire that precedes the ranking, where analysts, investors and business journalists answer questions on how they use corporate websites and what content they require.
Danish business daily Dagbladet Børsen publishes the Danish H&H Webranking results today. The standard of Danish corporate websites is slightly behind Finland and Sweden. However, the best Nordic website is Danish – Danske Bank.

Swedish business daily Dagens Industri and www.di.se are publishing the Nordic H&H Webranking results today. The best Nordic corporate website belongs to Danish Danske Bank, with a score of 84.5 points, followed by Finnish Metso with 84 points and Fortum with 82.25 points. Swedish Match has the best Swedish corporate website with a score of 81.25 points.

Staffan Lindgren and Gabriel Thulin of H&H write an article in e.com’s issue of Annual Report on Annual Reports 2006 on how Annual Reports have come out on the Internet.
Canada and Sweden dominate this year’s edition of Annual Report on Annual Reports. Canadian company Telus is ranked first among non-financial companies and BKO Financial, also Canada, comes first among banks. Swedish companies SAS, SCA and Stora Enso (Finnish/Swedish) follow on the non-financial list and SEB is second among banks.

H&H Webranking has examined the largest Russian companies' corporate websites. The results were published in the principal Russian business daily, Vedomosti, on July 28.

Austrian websites are improving but still trail behind their European counterparts in terms of financial and corporate disclosure in English. The results in online Corporate Governance and CSR remain weak.

The bidding for Skandia, just now completed, is the last chapter in the story that Skandia has produced the Swedish readers of business media. For the third year a Skandia related issue was the hottest event in Swedish business media. But the trial against former Skandia CEO Lars-Eric Petersson was ranked only as #11.
Simon Blecher, Affärsvärlden, scored highest in the 2006 ranking of financial journalists and business media in Sweden. Sophie Nachemson-Ekwall, and Bengt Carlsson, both Dagens Industri, followed 2nd and 3rd in a close race. This is the tenth edition where financial analysts, investors and corporate executives rank business media and financial journalists.

Swedish Match wins Stevie Award for best corporate website redesign. Fabege is finalist in the category best overall corporate website design. Both websites are produced by H&H.

In today’s issue of the International Herald Tribune is an article on a new Italian code for corporate governance. The article discusses the importance of the web. The H&H survey Webranking is mentioned as benchmark for Italian corporate websites.
