The bidding for Skandia, just now completed, is the last chapter in the story that Skandia has produced the Swedish readers of business media. For the third year a Skandia related issue was the hottest event in Swedish business media. But the trial against former Skandia CEO Lars-Eric Petersson was ranked only as #11.
Second in the news top were China and India as drivers of the world economy. The severe fall of the stock markets in May-June 2006 came third. First as #5 came the buyout of Gambro by EQT and the Investor Group, with a record high price.
The Awards were presented at Operaterrassen in Stockholm in connection with the Ranking of financial analysts arranged by financialhearings.com.
