Simon Blecher, Affärsvärlden, scored highest in the 2006 ranking of financial journalists and business media in Sweden. Sophie Nachemson-Ekwall, and Bengt Carlsson, both Dagens Industri, followed 2nd and 3rd in a close race. This is the tenth edition where financial analysts, investors and corporate executives rank business media and financial journalists.
Simon Blecher heads the weekly business magazine’s stock market commentary. He has worked as a financial journalist for many years, but will from August leave the profession for a career as an asset manager at Hagströmer & Qviberg AB.
Financial Times was voted as Best Media All categories, ahead of the Swedish business daily Dagens Industri.
The ranking is based on the verdict of 261 financial analysts, investors, CEOs and information officers. The study was made in the first week of June by the corporate communication consultancy Hallvarsson & Halvarsson and the research institute Svensk Image.
