The results from the Financial Analyst and Journalists Ranking were release today at a gathering at Operaterrassen in Stockholm.
Among individual journalists macro economist analyst Gunnar Örn, Dagens Industri recieves the highest score. Last year’s winner Sophie Nachemson-Ekwall, also from Dagens Industri is the runner up together with Patricia Hedelius, Dagens Nyheter.
In the daily business press category Dagens Industri beats Svenska Dagbladet in a rather close race, 45 % vs 38%. Best business magazine was as usual an easy race for Affärsvärlden receiving 75 % of all votes.
Ekonomiekot from the Swedish Public Broadcasting Company SR won the broadcasting media contest with 36 % closely followed by the news programme Aktuellt from Swedish Television with 28 %. DiTV, now broadcasted on TV8, scored 17 %.
Di.se beats E24 in the category Internet media 48 % vs 31 %, leaving 12 % to affarsvarlden.se in third place. The news agency Direkt beats Bloomberg with 44 % vs 27 %.
The Financial Times wins the foreign press class like every year getting 74% of the votes. In the grand class of “Best in economic reporting all categories” Dagens Industri and FT drew a tie for the top position.
The ranking is based on 226 responses from CEOs, analysts, investors and information and IR officers. They voted on the five best journalists as well as best media in seven categories.
The survey was made for the thirteenth year, by the communication consultancy Hallvarsson & Halvarsson in cooperation with Svensk Image.
The Awards were delivered at a ceremony today at Operaterrassen arranged by financialhearings.com
