The Swedish business daily Dagens Industri published the Swedish H&H Webranking results today. Trelleborg came in first place, followed by Swedish Match and SKF in the 13th annual H&H Webranking Sweden. Scania is this year’s best climber and made it into the top ten for the first time.
Sweden takes a step forward this year and manages to pinch the 5th (6) place in Europe, however, still behind the neighbors, Finland and Denmark.
The global engineering group Trelleborg wins the 2009 H&H Webranking Sweden for the first time with 78.25 points out of the possible 100. Swedish Match, who has won the last four years, settles for second place. Third place goes to the bearing giant SKF with 74.5 points.
“All the top ranked companies in Sweden have good websites, but Trelleborg wins this year because the website has no apparent weaknesses. One particular thing that we came across during the evaluation was their interactive financial tables, where the user can compare and plot their own graphs. Trelleborg also shows strong results in the CSR field, an area where Swedish companies usually get lower scores than the European average", says Marcus Eriksson.
Strengths and challenges for SwedenSwedish companies show progress in presenting general information about the company, such as strategy, vision, market share and company profile, information that is considered important in order to get a good overall picture of the company.
Swedish companies have room for improvement in the press and CSR sections. Many of the Swedish websites are in danger of falling further behind European competitors in these areas.
Best ClimberScania is this year's best climber with an increase of 11.5 points from last year."Scania took a great step forward when they relaunched their new website. The new website is not only rich with highly valued information, it is clear, easy to navigate, and shows an overall nice impression ", says Robin Olenius.
Other examples of companies who climb in this year's ranking are Clas Ohlson (+8.75) and Getinge (8).Read more:
